What is the importance for having multiple accounts on the social media platforms?

For me l do have only one account ion each social media platform that l am in.
l don't see any reason whatsoever l should own multiple accounts. What is your take?

I have three accounts on Facebook and I regretted doing it. There is nothing significant doing it. I am only active on my favorite account.

I currently have two Facebook accounts. I have deactivated my personal account and kept my freelancing FB account for work.

I am planning to deactivate my two Facebook accounts, There are strangers doing weird posts. I kept on deleting and reporting to Meta.

I think the event for having the multiple accounts is to distinguish between the business, social and political type of accounts for sure.
