What is the importance for having multiple accounts on the social media platforms?

For me l do have only one account ion each social media platform that l am in.
l don't see any reason whatsoever l should own multiple accounts. What is your take?

I really don't see the need of having multiple accounts on social media unless they are used for different reasons like your personal account and your business account.

I had only one account on Twitter, it is now suspended and I do not have any twitter account. Companies involved in social media marketing often create a large number of social media accounts.

I don't see any problems with having only one account on the social media sites as it's very enough for that.

I have three accounts on a social media like Facebook. I regretted because I felt it useless I am using only one account everyday. The other media sites, only one account each.

I don't even get to understand why multiple accounts for a single individual is necessary on social media. I don't need it.
