What is the most bizarre financial advice you have received?

The worst financial advice I have received is from a Pentecostal pastor. He said that if you are not paying tithe, things will tight for you.. i don't see how that correlates with other professionals advice! As a Christian there is nothing wrong in paying tithe and offering but somebody should not tell me that if i don't pay, i will face difficulties and financial constraints

I have never received strange or bad financial advice, trust issues are problems in the heart, not logical thoughts like professional advice, so if you trust too much it will affect your thoughts and behavior so that what the pastor says will happen.

The issue of paying tithe is mainly based on your beliefs. If you feel it's working for you, go ahead with it.
