I have noticed that the mobile hotspot signal cannot be detected when I leave home with the mobile , even a short distance of 20 meters away. What is the range of your mobile hotspot, if you have bothered to check?

I have not taken note if this aspect about my phone. I hardly use my hotspot and even when i do, its usually in a very close range.
