What is the safest asset for investment?

Investment, as a whole, is risky. However, some assets are more risky than the others. For instance stocks are risky investment, however, crypto is riskier than stocks. Real estate is safe investment, however, gold is more safe compared to real estate. When you are investing, do you choose safer investment or high risky investment? Sometimes high risky investment also gives you better investment.

In my country, if you have real estate investment, you are safe. It rarely has incidences of losses for people that go into it.

I am a conservative investor. I usually go for safe investment. But I do buy stocks. I buy dividend paying blue chip stocks.
