What is your reaction to a customer that intentionally steps on the floor that you are doing some mopping on?

There are some customers that would intentionally continue walking on the floor that you are making cleaning on. For instance when doing some ,mopping on the tiles, customers seem to be walking along the wet cleaned floor. What is your reaction not hat kind of incident by the customers?

There is no mopping of the floors once the business starts. The janitors clean the place before they go home in the evening as part of their overtime work. There's none here business owners to mop the floor that's ridiculous. There are in-house cleaners or janitors.

Before the shop opens, all the cleaning need to have been completed first to prevent issues like this. If at all any cleaning needs to take place during working hours, then it has to be a time where there are very few customers.

You can still gently or politely tells them you are cleaning and they need to step aside to avoid dirtying the floor all over again

I think cleaning should not be done during business hours. This may cause inconvenience to the customers.
