Launching a blog is exciting but without building traffic, your blog is just a ghost town. It does not matter where you blog, either on free blogging platforms, content aggregators, or on your own blog, you need traffic and your traffic needs to engage for blog growth and monetization. Having a regular traffic ensures that you are generating revenue, traffic will come if you have a lot of blog subscribers, your blog ranks high on search engines, and you have a lot of social media followers

The first step to build traffic is to have quality and valuable contents. Secondly, have a very user friendly site. Thirdly, drive traffic through social media, bookmarking sites etc. If you have fund, you can buy add from good ad networks like Google adwords.

It depends…. how fast do you want it?

If you want traffic today, then I would suggest learning about pay-per-click advertising (Facebook ads, Native Ads, Google Search, YouTube ads, etc).

However, there is a bit of a learning curve with PPC ads, and if you get it wrong, well, you’d be better off starting a fire with it, because at least it would provide a little bit of heat and light.

If you want to play the long-term traffic game, then you should consider posting your content on high-authority platforms that allow you to provide real value to people, that allow you to build up a reputation or profile so that you are rewarded for providing value to others

Constant publishing is worst part. Many people, inculding me, after few posts all time check stats and what it happend? Disapointment. Maybe few views, later nothing, then again few views, but it goes slow as snail. So people give up, stop postings and then blog is forget.
