It is not possible to run a business on your self-hosted online store for $100, but if you use marketplaces like ebay, Amazon, Etsy, etc. $100 will be more than enough to run a business. I suggest you try print on demand on etsy. Spend $10 for listing and remaining $90 for marketing.
Personally i will suggest you to try some cryptocurrency trading or forex trading, but first you need to have good knowledge and some basics on trading, and know about risk managements and strategies.
Some cryptocurreny can appreciate overtime due to high level of demand so I think holding crypto asset for a period of time can be a profitable business an you can start with one hundred dollar.

There are lots of things you can do online to earn money with that amount. You could also start a print on demand business, or you could go into drop shipping.
You can start a blogging business. You just build your site and start posting on it. But you need to be good in it.
