I usually use cream or spray. I always bring a mosquito repellant with me because I am scared of having dengue. My sister had dengue fever when she was young and her platelets dropped.

There are no mosquitoes at home this time since it is extremely hot. The mosquitos are hiding somewhere in a cool place, perhaps. When there are mosquitoes, we spray them with Quick or Bigon.
We are currently using citronella and lavender incense to drive away mosquitoes, especially at night.
I use mobil insecticide to kill them and keep them away. I just hate these biting and noise making flying insect.
I have tried many repellents, and none of them make me happy, so the best thing is to close the door so that they can't enter my house
Here we are in very cold season now. And we are facing mosquitoes problem with the fear of severe illness. We just remain on our lights while we sleep, and surprisingly they don't disturb us.
