Talking about advanced payments for service jobs from clients, artisans always place premium on that. The big question is the ideal percentage of total payment should be paid as advanced payment. 50%? 60%?

What percentage of total payment is good enough as advanced payment for both sides?

Each service provider will determine a different advanced payment, or depending on the agreement with the customer, there is no specific benchmark, how much advanced payment the customer must pay, but generally around 20% to 100%, because personally I prefer to pay in full in advance, so that the collection of goods can be done by anyone even by the courier.
