Lately, my laptop keeps overheating, and the sound of my laptop's fan is making noise, especially when I work long hours and also when I open multiple tabs. Is there any way to fix this? and can my laptop function like it used to because the price of new laptops is so expensive in my area? and to be honest i don't have any plan to buy a new one, fixing it will be a good option for me.

If your laptop overheats, there is chances that the laptop cooling fan in the laptop have spoilt or have issue. The best option is for you to contact repairman that can fix it. Laptop cooling fan is not costly.
Thank you for your advice. I also thought about it; I think it may be the cooling fan. Like I said on the post, "it is making some weird sounds," and I think its the fan. I hope it won't coast me that much. thanks again

I'm not an expert on laptop issues, but it's possible that the cooling system in your laptop is malfunctioning or that you're overloading your CPU. In any case, it's a good idea to seek the help of a qualified technician.
You are right; the problem is with its cooling system. I think the fan is broken and needs replacement, but the laptop is also old, and I should accept the fact that my laptop is old and needs to be changed.

I also have fewer problems with overheating. One of the reasons is a lot of dust inside that needs to be cleaned, and the second reason may be a virus that is not visible on your computer and it can load the system, which is why it overheats, so you need to reset all settings to factory defaults

If your laptop keeps overheating it's probably due to the cooling fan not working the way it should, or it could also be that you are running an app or software that is too heavy for the laptop.
