There are so many courses that are being sold everywhere. Many of those courses promise to help users upskill their potential to earn online. What should you consider before paying for a course that you aim to use and upskill your online earning potential?

The most important is to check how relevant is the course is to your business or general wellbeing. Will the course add value to your life? Not all course have values! or will add value to the person that acquired it. You must determine how relevant the course will be to you.

I think what you should check out for is if the course can actually benefit you, if it can give you some added advantage to what you do to earn.

How do you even determine if the course would benefit you when you can't access the course? I know so many people that have spent money on a course that they thought would benefit them and the course turned out to be useless.

Before I pay for a course, I always check if it’s taught by someone who actually knows their stuff. Reviews help, but I also peek at the course outline, does it cover skills I can actually use to make money? Practical exercises are a must. I hate paying for courses that are just slides and hype.
