What would be the cause of a charging port of a smartphone getting spoilt too often.

I know of a friend who has an android phone that the charging port keeps getting bad so often. In two years, I know that she has repaired the charging port at least 15 times. The last time is today. What could make the charging port of a smartphone to get spoilt so often?

@Kera what brand of phone is she using, is it a tecno phone? Or maybe infinix? I also need answers for this cause i am experiencing the same thing. When i was using a tecno phone, the charging port got bad, so they had to change it. It was a tecno Wx3 or so. If am not mistaken i fixed this issue more than 15 times, most times it gets bad after a week. My sister is using a tecno phone and its still the same issue. Am currently using an infinix phone and i have fixed the port like 4 times now or so. They keep on asking me how i used it anytime i come for repairs like am the one spoiling it myself.

It is a techno mobile device. The repairer says it is from the charger but it is clear that it is from the phone manufacturer.

I think this is an issue with tecno and infinix phone, especially tecno. Multiple people experiencing this is no longer a coincident. Once you repair it once, get ready to keep fixing it.

There may be a problem with the charger or phone design or the components which are used or the manufacturing process. Are the phones imported?

Those phones that have those issues don't have a down board that could be replaced with original charging ports.
