In the business world, we often encounter similar terms, often considering them synonymous, even though similar or nearly identical terms have different meanings and intents. If we consider the three phrases above, all three use the preposition "target," which can be interpreted as a specific, measurable goal with a predetermined time limit. To avoid mistakes in planning and strategy, can you explain the difference between target audience, target consumer, and target market?

they sound so similar it is confusing. the market is the whole big crowd of people you want. the audience is who you talk to in your ads. and the consumer is the one who actually buys your thing. thinking about them separately makes it a bit clearer for me.
