So I was selling to a particular customer at a discounted rate. And another customer walked into the farm. And she knows the fixed price of my products. But she saw the discounted price that I sold for the other customer. She accused me of being partial and insisted I must sell for her at the same price that I sold for the other customer.

What would you do in that situation?

This is the reason why some businesses don't disclose their deals with some special customers. You must give that customer the same discount.

If i am giving a discount to one, i don't let the other customers know unless i am ready to give it to all. Then again in situations like this i would simply explain to the customer why that one in particular is having a discount.

I don't think that explanation would work. The customer in question would always accuse you of favoritism. Just give the same discount to the customer and take the loss.
