When do you pay your staff?

It is one thing to have staff and pay them, and it is another thing to decide the best time to pay them that would favor the business in terms of when revenue comes in?

Most businesses prefer to pay at the end of the month. At which point in the work cycle do you pay your staff?

That's the basic idea. Organizations should learn to pay their staff on them agreed time. It is a responsibility for business owners to follow diligently.

I don't fancy that first week payment. But if that's the standard of a particular company and they stick to it, that's okay.

Staff's are supposed to be paid in time. I have realised that when workers are being paid in time they can be motivated and produce their best in the workplace.

Some companies pay their staff date to date. That means if the staff resumed work on 8th of this month, they would pay the staff on 8th of next month.

That's why I always tell every employee to ask when they would be paid before they accept that job offer.

I pay my staff every 15 and 30th of the month. We are following the law here. Though there is also daily, weekly and monthly, but my staff prefers to receive their salary every 15th and 30th of the month.

Yeah but the good thing is that you get paid for that month. the thing is bosses should be making sure to pay monthly

It is irresponsible bosses that don't deserve to have staff that are into the habit of delaying the payment of staff. Such don't deserve to have staff.
