When do you stop working on a website or app?

There are many apps or websites which promise to pay members, yet in some cases, the payout threshold is very high or the website/app does not pay as promised. At what stage do you stop working on an app or website, especially if you have not received payment?

When I work on the site for a while and I don't see payment proof from other genuine users, I am out of that site.

I only use certain apps, and I always read the reviews first to make sure other members are getting paid.

I stop working on a site or an app when I am bored with the tasks available or I find better income opportunities.

I stop working on a site when the payment isn't paid after i do the work, or when i find that the pay is way to small and its not longer worth working on it.
