Delving into the world of buying groceries, we always have those giant packs of groceries and we have those very small sachets for one time use.

At which point does it make financial sense to go for the giant packs and which point does it help a person's finances if they buy small sachets?

I think the decision between buying large packages or small sachets depends a lot on consumption and each person's situation. In general, large packages tend to be more economical in the long run because the cost per unit is lower, but this is only worthwhile if you're really going to use everything before it spoils or expires. For those with a large family or consistent consumption, large packages are usually the best option because they save money and reduce the amount of packaging they generate. However, if someone lives alone or has very limited consumption, small sachets can be more convenient and avoid waste, in addition to not requiring a large initial investment. Ultimately, what helps personal finances is evaluating how much you actually consume and how much you're willing to spend at any given time. It's a matter of balancing savings and practicality.

Everyday life teaches us that discipline and organization are the foundation of well-being. Many people rush through tasks without taking the time to organize themselves, and the result is stress and loss. With a financial plan, a work schedule, and time to relax, you have the opportunity to move forward without pressure. This discipline also helps build better relationships with family and community, and brings true happiness.

In situations where i just need a little quantity, buying the small sachet would make more sense. I would only go for the bigger one if i plan on using it for a long period of time.

You have made a very clear point. First of all, it is like someone entering a store and not planning to spend a lot on something, it is better to just take a small sachet, so as not to be a story of carrying a burden for nothing. But if you know that you will use this thing regularly and for a long time, then buying a large one becomes easy and stress-free. It is like the Swahili proverb, say a little and it fills the bag.

If you have a large family, it just makes more sense to buy those giant size groceries. It is far more cheaper than buying retail quantities everyday.
Yes this is wise and smart financial planning. You just have to always think things through to save money as much as you can
