When is it better to send voice notes on Instant Messengers ahead of texts?

Instant Messaging apps like WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram etc all have become great medium for communication and community. Using an Instant Messaging app, when do you rather send voice notes instead of texts?

Personally, I prefer sending voice notes in situations where communication needs to be clearer and more expressive. When I want to convey emotions, tone of voice, or simply explain something that would be long and tedious to write, voice notes are much more effective. I also use them when I'm busy and can't dedicate time to writing a detailed message, but I want the other person to understand what I'm thinking or need to say. For example, in conversations with close friends or on topics that require a more personal touch, voice notes bring a warmth that texts don't always achieve. However, in situations where the message might be confusing or the other person needs a written record, I prefer texts. Ultimately, I use voice notes when I want my communication to be more human and personal.

I send voice notes when the message I am trying to convey is really long. That saves me efforts if having to type so many things.
