When should business owners stop reinvesting profits into the business?

Business owners always reinvest in their businesses to grow it. While that is good, is there a point that it gets to and the owner should stop reinvesting in the business? Or is it till infinity that a business person should keep reinvesting in their business?

I don't think there is a point that the business owner should not have some percentage of profits put back in the business. There is always a higher ceiling for a business to reach.

Generally, business owners will stop reinvesting profits into the business especially when there are no more profitable investment opportunities in the business, maybe because the product is outdated, there is stiff competition, etc.

Reinvesting can help improve the company or expand operations, leading to even higher profits down the line. So I don't see the need of stopping

I personally don't think there is a specific time where a business owner should stop investing in their business though. The more you want to expand your business, the more you invest in it.

I don't think reinvesting profits into a business ever stops as long as the business has some areas to improve. But you can't keep reinvesting all profits into the business.
