When you watch TV, how do you feel when a show switches broadcast times and you can't find it and miss several episodes? Or when a streaming service stops carrying your favorite binge-watch? Or what if your favorite restaurant starts serving your regular lunch order only on weekends?

It kinda sucks, right?

Same thing happens when your audience doesn't get consistent “servings” of your content. If you only publish sporadically, or publish for a while and then stop, or make a sudden change in when, where, or how you publish, your audience thinks “hey, this sucks!” and finds other more consistent creators to follow.
