When your business has become bigger than that of your business mentor?

Having a business mentor can really help new business people to succeed faster. But what happens when your business has grown to become bigger than that of your business mentor? Do you need to change to a bigger business mentor?

If your business have become more successful than your mentor does not mean you have exceeded your mentor in business acumen. You can equally have more than one mentor. If your business experience more success than your mentor, you only need to get acquainted with more successful businessmen to learn from them also.

It is only arrogant business people that would ditch their business mentor simply because they have grown their businesses to be bigger than that of their mentors.

If your business has outgrown or outgrown your mentor's business, before changing your business mentor, you need to consider the mentor's skills and professionalism, experience, and strategic advice, whether they are still adequate for your business.

One thing i have to come understand is no matter how big you grow, your mentor still remains your mentor. He still has years of experience over you. Then again if you where able to grow to that level through the help of your mentor i don't see a reason why you should let go, and there is notting you stopping you from having multiple mentors .

People value money over experience. But I value the experience of someone whose knowledge I have ridden on to get business advancement. I would never despise my mentor because I am bigger.

If your business outgrown that of your mentor, there's no need to replace him/her. You can still benefit from his/her experience in some respects. If necessary, you can have more than one mentor.
