Where and when did you learn financial planning?

To be honest with you all it wasn't on my mind about financial planning despite I learned to do business at a corruptible age , 11. I learned it when I joined a marketing group named World Financial Group, and that was the time that I contemplated about it. However, it wasn't applied realistically because I have many concerns and have many sources to earn much like my work, as an insurance underwriter, and as car agent. Though I have savings, but I keep on spending. Further, I only applied financial planning realistically when I joined a forum. I learned many good things on how to acquire financial freedom. Indeed, I'm thankful to have joined two good forum sites like RIF and DBucks because I have acquired a small business.

For me this is something that l learned in a school or learning financial institutions. I adopted the financial skills from my late father that he learnt from his employer.

For mex I didn't really learn about it professionally, it was something I picked up more like through instinct.

Financial planning was taught in our Economics subjects but it's experience that taught me how to do financial planning. The experience I learned from forum sites.

I learned mostly on the forums that I joined like RIF, DBucks, and PostBucks. I am also thankful to have joined a forum. I would not have any idea about the existence of forums if I was not invited.

I learned everything by myself. My parent just teach me how I should not spend all money and every time must have something for bad situations. Everything else, how spend, find discounts is on me.

That is awesome. Your parents know that someday you might have a passion for business and while you are still young you have to know the orientation and the value of money, and planning must be learned earlier.

I learned financial planning from my parents. They used to teach me how to budget when they gave me money to buy things for the house. I was 14 when I started learning financial procedures.

I started learning it when I was in college, there we had it's subject and need to get at least passing marks to move on next grade. On that time I didn't given it importance but now I am feeling it is crucial for further success.

I still find it difficult to make sound financial planning. I have never taken financial planning serious and i have paid dearly for it. I have learnt through hard way.

I watched a lot of videos on YouTube about this because after school I realized that I wouldn't succeed if I just study and then work, but the book The Richest Man in Babylon helped me the most, it's just a top for learning about finances
