It is high net worth people that provide equity funding. You can see how you can sell your business to some rich people around you.
You can try to find angel investors on platforms like Linkedin, and Angelist. In addition, you can also expand your network, join business communities and attend business events in your area,
You can leverage your existing network, including industry associations, business communities, and personal contacts.
For me l can say that it's very difficulty to find angel investors for businesses. That is because l have spent like five years doing the same in vain for sure.
LinkedIn is a good place to find investors but to find investors can be herculian task especially if you are from a developing countries where the majority of people are poor. You can seek partnership with micro finance banks.
