Where do you source achievable saving goals?

Like under what circumstances do you come up with some better and achievable saving goals?

In my country, savings don't earn interest, so I don't have specific goals or savings targets to achieve, except for emergency funds and short-term goals. So, my savings account is simply a transaction tool, and then it's allocated to investment instruments.

I don't make it a habit to have a specific amount or percentage i save, i just save whatever i can. This is one help me achieve my savings goal most times.
