If you are looking to employ a cashier for your business, what are the core things you would look out for in a potential candidate. Which attributes do you think that if a person has would make him or her an excellent cashier for a business organization?

Honesty and integrity are important as the person is handling cash transactions. S(he) should also be attentive to details, always give the correct amount of cash change to customers. Finally, s(he) should be a friendly person, ready to put a smile on his/her face when receiving money from customers.

A cashier must be someone that is extremely careful and very observant. He or she must understand the need for proper recording.
