Which is which, a shopping voucher or cash?

The current employer that l am working with usually gives the staffs a shopping voucher for the lunch or cash. So if it were you what would you prefer?

I would prefer to get cash so that I can save some if I can. A shopping voucher might comes with some terms and conditions

I would prefer cash so that I can decide if I spend it or how much I spend.

I will go for cash, cause I might not use the whole money for lunch, or I might even decide not to eat some days.
