I have tried both YouTube and blogger. I can say there is no faster way to monetize content. It requires patience and takes time. You need lots of traffic to really be able to place ads on your content and start earning real cash.
Advertising rates are highest for Youtube videos, but it is difficult to get page views since they consume a lot of bandwidth. For banner advertising, the number of visitors may not be counted accurately.
I am always thinking of affliate marketing when we come to the website monetization. The venture really pays off but it requires the initial commitments, patience and even upfront money for the start.
Monetization and making money are two things. You can use amazon affiliate ads without having to send for approval, however, just because you are using ads do not mean you will be making money the easy way.
