I am actually not used to shutting down my computer on a daily basis. Sometimes, I go for as much as a week without shutting down the PC.
Who else is guilty of not shutting down the PC everyday? We just hibernate and go our way.

Does it affect the PC in any way?

I'm also one of those people who don't turn off their computer every day. Most of the time I put it in hibernation mode to save time and keep the applications I'm working on open. However, I know this isn't always the best approach, since keeping it on or in sleep mode for extended periods can affect long-term performance. In my experience, I haven't noticed any serious problems, but I have seen that after a long time without restarting, the computer can become slower or develop some minor errors. I think the ideal solution would be to shut it down regularly, at least once a week, so the system can restart and clean itself up a bit. I understand it's more convenient not to turn it off, but I think that to prolong the life of the computer, it's better to perform basic maintenance and turn it off when it won't be used for several hours.
