Who knows about a stable coin called, "Dai"?

Yesterday, I got payment for a service I rendered online and it was paid through a crypto called Dai. I later got to know that it is a stable coin.

Can anyone throw more light on it?
How stable can it be? Anyone used it before? What are the fees for withdrawal with it?

Dai is a stablecoin that has been on the market for some time, it is one of the most famous stablecoins, but even so, it is less famous than USDT and USDC for example.

I don't even think this Dai as a stable coin is even known amongst the crypto people in Africa. Everyone knows USDT and a little bit of USDC.
