An Entrepreneur is the person who takes an initiative of establishing a bussiness enterprise. He/she is also designated as the Captain of the industry, business organiser, and the bussiness manager. The Various functions performed by the entrepreneurs are:-

*Bringing into existence a bussiness unit and therefore acts as a promoter.

* Preparing the blueprint of the business activities.

*He sets up the desired organization and prepares plans and policies for it's smooth operation.
.*He performs distributive functions by making necessary payment to land, labour and capital.

Entrepreneur is the person who engages in the provision of goods and services for money. This person takes an initiative of establishing a bussiness enterprise. He provides the funding for the business and can even employed others
