According to the report, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is said to prefer ex-US President Donald Trump over VP Kamala Harris for the race to the White House.
The report said that Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife congratulated Trump on his projected win in the Nov. 5 elections. “Your historic return to the White House offers a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America”, Netanyahu wrote on X.
The report also stated that at least twice, during security deliberations, the Israeli PM said that if Trump is elected, it would be easier for Israel because the Republican understands the ‘Iranian problem.’ This is in line with the public sentiment in Israel which also favours Trump over Harris by a wide margin, according to polls. Among supporters of Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition, 93% prefer Trump, as per reports.

Ending a war is not as easy as starting one. There are so many complexities involved both in the Gaza and Ukraine wars. My intuition is Trump to rescue the situation will make it worse and trigger a bigger conflict. The world is not the same as it was 4 years ago. So many things have changed a lot and the USA has lost the respect it had before- one viewer said.
