Why are basic financial needs alway looking like an emergency for some people?

For some people, simple basic needs like power bills, house rents and even food seem like an emergency for them every time. They struggle to pay those bills even when they have income.

Why are some basic needs always looking like emergency for some people?

I think these set of people lacks financial intelligence. They do not plan their financial life properly when it comes to their basic needs

Failure to plan your life is the very reason why meeting every need looks like an emergency. It can happen once in a while but not every time.

There are several reasons why some people consider or feel basic needs like emergencies. Essentially, basic needs are necessities that must be met, so they are urgent or cannot be replaced. The first reason is poor financial planning, an improved lifestyle that increases expenses, inflation, etc.

It depends, for some it is due to the fact that the money that comes in, is not even enough to sort these basic needs, then for others it's simply because they lack planning.

For some people, they don't have an income flow that is fixed, that's why they seem to be helpless sometimes when basic needs come.

That's because they have sufficient amount of income that force them to live them to live on hand to mouth basis. They seem to be earning very less than what they are supposed to spend.

But if one lives within their income, light bills, water bills won't be a pressure such that it would always be like an emergency.

I guess we struggle with catering for our basis needs iof we fail to think critically. Like, we need to factor in for emergencies if we will comfortably met out daily needs sustainably.
