Why are browser extensions not working for android devices?

I find that browser extensions are not available for android devices like smartphones. These extensions are only available for windows devices. Has anyone noticed this problem for android devices?

Extensions don't work on android and smartphones because the chrome app or android does not support extensions

You are very right on that. I experienced that on multiple times when l was looking for some extension to install as part of my assignments on some GPT that l work with.
