Why are many manufacturing plants of companies in China?

Many international companies that are into manufacturing have their plants in China. Even Apple Inc has its assembly plant in China. Why are international companies having manufacturing plants in China? What advantages does it offer such companies?

It is nothing than cheap labor that is available in China that takes brands to site their factories there.

I think that China doesn't just have cheap unskilled labour, they also have highly skilled labour that are very affordable compared to other places of the world.

China has cheaper labour with technological advancement too. That's what gives China the edge to have big global manufacturing plants sited there.
