To this day, I still encounter many people who can't control their spending, often resulting in their income being less than their expenses. Every month, after receiving their paycheck, they have to pay off debts and take on more, either in cash or in kind.

Of course, we'll encounter many reasons why someone overspends, preventing them from setting aside money for savings and investments. So, what do you think are the most common reasons for overspending?

It is just a lack of discipline that would make people to be not be controlled in their spending. The moment they truly build that discipline, they would have control over their spendings.

That depends on the personality of the person. If s(he) is always lack of self-discipline, materialistic, cannot stand a frugal lifestyle, s(he) tends to overspend always.
