Gambling makes people to lose money. Only very few gamblers often less than 1% of total gamblers can confidently say that they have made money from gambling. Nevertheless, people still gamble everyday. Why do you think people gamble when they keep losing?

It is the hope that they would get financial freedom from gambling that makes them to keep gambling.

Many people hope to get rich overnight and achieve a comfortable life, but that rarely happens. You might win at first, but know that winning won't always be the case. When you experience losses, you might feel compelled to keep trying to recover the money you've lost, which can lead to losing everything.

The only ones who can make money from gambling are bookies, but gamblers will not only lose money and property, but also their families, I once read an article about a gambler who sold his wife to pay off debts and there was also a gambler who sold his daughter.

That's it. They just feel that one mistake made them not to win the last game. This next game would be their big break.
For most of them, they are under the illusion that the next game would be successful, hence they keep on gambling and gambling.
