Why do staff always think the business owner to be very rich?

When I talk to staff of small business organisations, they always keep talking about how the owner of the business organization they work for is making money and being very rich. Sometimes, the business owner is not as rich as the staff estimate? Why do the staff of a business organization always rate the owner of the organization to be very rich?

It is a normal believe system of every employee that his employer is richer and more comfortable than him. When you compare and contrast, you will realize that their assertion have some element of truth in it. Though, they may not know thecnercworth of their employers.

The staff see the production volume. They see the sales. They probably think the owner takes all the money. They might not know the hidden costs of running the business that the owner has to chest.

That is the general perception. Business owner has the money to start and run a business. But at times. business owners face even more serious financial problems than employees.

Some business owners are in serious debts that they took to keep the business running. But staff would never know. I have been there and can tell anyone for free.

The staffs often see the amount of jobs that comes in and they just count everything as profit. They forget the business owner still has to pay for rent, electricity, their salaries, buy materials, maintenance and so on.

The way that we staff always calculate how much sales the business is making. The danger in staff seeing the business owner as very rich is that they would always feel the business owner is stingy.

Employees see the physical assets of the business (buildings, equipment, inventory) and often equate these with the owner's personal wealth.

Business owners pay their salaries. Why won't they see them to be very rich. It is not easy to be paying for people salaries.

Yes they believe if you are the one paying them then you should be swinging in the money and more is there for you
