I agree with you on that a certain virus is one cause for a phone to hang. It's what I experienced recently. I am thankful to Kaspersky. My phone no longer hangs.

I agree with that. Some external files that can be downloaded on the phones could be bring some malware and pose the phone to general problems for sure.

Most times, when the memory space on the phone is quite low, it would drag and hang. Other times, it is due an app being too heavy to run on the phone.

When the memory of the phone is low, it must hang. You would have to delete some files and apps that you are not using often.
