Why do you think most people fail to achieve business growth and sustainability?

According to the statistics done here in my country, most business stat ups last for under three years from the business launching. There are so many reasons that culminate to that one of them being poor political stabilities that ravage the Kenya's economy. What is the situation in your region?

Some persons do not attain sustainability in their businesses because they focus on short-term gains, while not considering long-term matters. A businessperson may, for example, focus on reducing prices so as to pull customers from competitors.
