Why do you think online jobs are better than offline jobs?

So many people in my country are moving to online gigs. Many people are doing online jobs full time. What is the main advantage of online jobs over offline in jobs? What are the advantages of online jobs?

I don't think online job earns you better here. I am not skilled in anything so don't have many options for online work for me.
