I think for most people that receive payments online, litecoin has become the number one crypto for that. It has a real case value proposition and it is very popular.

Why is it that litecoin is still languishing around 60$ when it is supposed to boost up?

Litecoin is mainly used for payments and not as an investment, also to be converted into other cryptocurrencies, given its low commissions, apart from that I do not believe that cryptocurrencies are in mass adoption by any means.

That means people don't hold litecoin. But even a payment crypto like Bitcoin cash is actually doing well. What of Solana too? I don't think being a payment crypto is what is holding litecoin down.

Bitcoin Cash, although it is used for payments, has stronger fundamentals than Litecoin. Just do a little research into the cryptocurrency and you will realize why many more people hold it. Solana, on the other hand, is a layer 2 blockchain with DeFi, metaverses, NFTs and more. things, it has more functionalities and uses.
