Why is online business so difficult for some people?

Online business is not easy for some people. One of my friends who have interest in online business have not been able to scale through ! After all tutorials and online money making strategies i shared with him, he still can not make a decent income through online business
What is the likely cause of his failure to make money online?

May be the products he sells do not meet with the needs of his target audience. He also needs to re-think his marketing strategies to make it more effective.

When it comes to business, it is usually easy for some, and difficult for others. I think why online business is difficult for most persons is because they have not actually taken out time to study the business.
