I have seen that almost all kinds of businesses that sell products that are packaged always include the net weight of the products in the labelling.

Is it a regulatory requirement to do so? Is it applicable to all businesses?

Every time I shop I always check the expiry date. I already caught many and consulted the store supervisors. Even a cotton has its expiry date. I caught one cotton last week and reported it to the counter because it was expired in 2023. I told them to remove the expired products or to report them to the authorities.

There are some countries where it is a must for these products to carry their net weight. It is also a way to allow the customers know the quantity of the product they are buying.
