Most of us only focus on short- and medium-term investments, or many of us are forced to sell investment instruments for various reasons before the investment reaches five years.

We also cannot deny that investing truly requires utilizing idle money, which is money that will not be used for the long term. One example of a long-term investment is a retirement fund, investing for retirement, or achieving financial freedom. Therefore, the instruments chosen also differ from short-term goals; long-term investors prefer blue-chip stocks, Bitcoin, Binance, Ether, property, gold, etc.

One reason we need to choose long-term investments is that we will earn returns from compound interest or reinvestment of capital gains and passive income.

I completely understand this perspective, and I agree that long-term investments are often undervalued by many people. In my opinion, the main advantage of investing for the long term is the power of compounding, which can significantly increase wealth over time if capital gains and dividends are reinvested consistently. Short-term investments may provide quick returns, but they often involve higher risks and can be influenced by market volatility or sudden financial needs. Personally, I focus on a mix of assets for the long term, including blue-chip stocks, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether, property, and precious metals like gold. These investments may take years to fully realize their potential, but they provide stability and the possibility of passive income. Long-term investing also helps cultivate discipline and patience, allowing investors to make rational decisions instead of reacting impulsively to short-term market fluctuations.

This message touches on a truth that many of us avoid—long-term investing requires patience and money that we don’t expect to spend quickly. We often have to sell assets before the five-year mark because of financial challenges or a lack of long-term planning.

But the truth is that long-term investments like pensions, blue-chip stocks, Bitcoin, Ether, gold, or real estate generate significant returns through compound interest and passive income. This is the path to financial freedom without relying on a monthly salary.

A long - term investment is a sure thing, risk tolerable and there's a sure profit that could serve as a passive income. Others don't know the real score if invest in a long - term plan. Most investors want a short - investment notwithstanding with the potential risk of losing.

Long-term investments often seem more stable and provide consistent returns. While not everyone understands the benefits, the truth is that when you put your money into a long-term plan, you give yourself the opportunity to grow financially without the pressure of rapid market changes. Many people prefer short-term strategies in the hope of quick profits, but that comes with a high risk of loss. Long-term investments can be a great source of income without much effort, especially if you choose carefully. All it takes is patience, market understanding, and financial discipline.

You should start investing, but not in stocks or bonds, actually don’t invest money to make money.
Invest in yourself to learn about financial education.

Learn how to read financial statements, understand businesses, understand tax laws, corporate laws, business laws, how to communicate, etc.
Educate yourself on investments and learn how to manage risk.
