Why Small Businesses Don't Grow?

Although we often hear of successful entrepreneurs who started from opening small businesses, there are many more small businesses that do not grow and many small businesses close because they are unable to cover operational costs. So in your opinion, why do many small businesses not grow?

I think lack of funding is the main reason. If the business is making a lot of profit and is well managed, there's a chance that the business will grow gradually.

Many people always blame lack of finding for the failure of small businesses. But I always think it is more of lack of innovation.

Small businesss always struggle to grow because of strong competition that tends to stifle them. But they always have to stay consistent.
