Why would a crypto coin be delisted?

I have just been receiving messages from my exchange about a particular coin or another that is going to be delisted.

I want to know what would make a crypto exchange to delist a coin. What are the variables that would make a crypto exchange to take a decision of delisting a coin?

I think that the fundamentals are a reason to delist a coin from an exchange, for example, unclear purpose, marketcap or undated coins in circulation, unknown development team, etc.
