These neighbors who are robbing are considered very high status and respectable by the government agencies, other neigbors. They only rob vulnerable people like single older women, senior citizens.

Well, this happens a lot where the rich try to take more from the poor and they tend to walk away freely which is very annoying

When my husband was alive they tried to rob him using cunning ways. He used to call them thieves directly. They know what they are and fear that someday we may get their house searched by the police. We had even complained against them to the police.
