Many of us have been victims of scams at one point or the other. That's why most of us have gotten wiser and have learned the ways of scammers. With what you know about scams, do you think it is impossible for you to get scammed now?

I don’t think it’s ever completely impossible to get scammed, no matter how experienced or cautious someone becomes. Scammers evolve constantly, adapting their methods to new technologies and human behaviors. Even the most vigilant people can fall victim when the scam plays on emotions like fear, urgency, or trust. Personally, I believe awareness and skepticism are strong defenses, but overconfidence can be dangerous. The moment someone assumes they’re “too smart” to be fooled, they lower their guard, and that’s exactly when scammers strike. Modern scams use deepfakes, AI-generated voices, and convincing social engineering that can deceive even professionals. For me, the best approach is to stay alert, verify everything independently, and never rush decisions involving money or personal data. So, while I’m much wiser and harder to deceive now, I wouldn’t say I’m immune—only prepared and constantly learning from new scam tactics.

Well, scammers come up with all sorts of new tricks from time to time. I cannot rule out the possibility of being scammed.

There is absolutely no one that is immune to being scammed. No one can claim that they know so much such that they can never get scammed. We just have to be very careful to avoid scams.

That's quite true. Even as we are smarter, the scammers are also trying to be smarter. We should never be over confident with thinking that scammers can't get us.

I am completely not scam proof, I do not think despite being knowledgeable people are scam proof. One way or the other, a lot of us can be easily scammed.

I feel it would be a little hard for someone to be able to scam me, but not impossible cause there are so many ways they can go about it these days.
