A 28-year-old woman, Nandini Parihar, who previously raised alarm that her husband was threatening her life, has now been fat@lly shot by him in public over a party video.

The horrifying incident occurred near Roop Singh Stadium, one of Gwalior’s busiest areas.

The incident has sparked public outrage and raised serious questions about law enforcement and women’s safety in India.

The incident occurred around noon when Nandini, accompanied by two friends, was travelling in an auto-rickshaw after visiting the Superintendent of Police’s office to file yet another complaint against her abusive husband, Arvind Parihar.

Arvind, following her in a separate rickshaw, intercepted her near the stadium and opened fire with a pistol, shooting her five times at point-blank range.
